The Two Bays Trust’s “You Good?” campaign aims to inspire communities to look after each other by encouraging people to check in with family, friends and colleagues, and ask…
What’s the "You Good?" campaign for?
Reducing Stigma & Shame: People often hide their mental health struggles due to fear of judgment, making them feel isolated and preventing help-seeking; we aim to normalise the conversation.
Promoting Early Intervention: By encouraging simple, regular check-ins, we want to help identify distress early, enabling connections to support before problems become severe.
Building Supportive Networks: We want to empower friends, family, and colleagues to become part of the support system, fostering stronger informal networks.
Increasing Understanding: We aim to educate people on mental health, stress management, and how to support others, increasing overall community knowledge.
Breaking Down Barriers: We will create spaces and tools for confidential access to help, especially for harder-to-reach groups.
Combatting Misconceptions: We will challenge the idea that people should just "deal with it", highlighting that mental health struggles are common and require attention.
Getting Outside: …and we want to do all this in Cornwall’s stunning, nurturing, natural environment.

needn’t be the end of the conversation!
Here are a few follow-up questions you could try…
How are you feeling today, really? Physically and mentally.
What’s taking up most of your headspace right now?
When was your last full meal, and have you been drinking enough water?
How have you been sleeping?
What have you been doing for exercise?
What did you do today that made you feel good?
What’s something you can do today that would be good for you?
What’s something you’re looking forward to in the next few days?
What’s something we can do together this week, even if we’re apart?
What are you grateful for right now?
